"The Artists' Self-Portrait"is a series of studies of other artists' self-portraits with the aim of investigating what it is to be an artist. As a young artist, I was interested in this topic. What is it like to be an artist, how does it work? How do I relate to myself and other artists if I claim that I am artist myself? How can I ever proclaim to be an artist and should I? My aim was to explore how other artists see themselves as they work with their own image and attitudes towards their own work and how I could relate to themand to myself as an artist.
